If you’re a mom who is looking to loose a few pounds and is limited on time (and energy), you may consider exercise videos online that focus on fun, lively cardio type workouts. Cardio workouts just seem to give you the most bang for your buck by helping you burn fat, give you more energy and relieve stress and tension. Workouts like Low Impact, or Dance Aerobics or Spinning are by nature just more fun than a treadmill or a stair climber. Or how about dragging your husband out for an evening walk to unwind after a long day, you will get in a workout while having a little adult time with your honey.

The good news is that a good, sweaty workout is going to give you more energy and allow you to feel in control of your emotions and help to control mood swings. Know that your kids are looking to you to see how you care for your own body, they look to you to see how important it really is to stay physically fit. So guess what, if you can find a workout that you enjoy, it will teach your kids that exercise can be fun, it can be something that is just a natural part of their every day life. So stop thinking about it and do something – buy a few exercise videos that appeal to you, a workout that you can really get your teeth into, because it’s not just about your health, you kids are watching and when they see mommy enjoying her workout, it will teach them the importance of a healthy and fit life.
