Most people usually will not follow a healthy diet because they either don’t value their health or they are uneducated about what “real” food actually is.

After years of eating on the run, in the front of the television or while stuffing a hot dog into their mouth while driving down the highway; they eat like dogs never stopping to taste, savor and enjoy the food their eating.

Diets offer a weak temporary fix for bad eating choices. What’s really needed is a lifestyle change. The people who actually lose weight and keep it off are the people who change their their habits forever. Changing your eating habits is a lot easier then dieting and much more satisfying.

Many diets do not need a great deal of studies to know they are good, simply because they are based on the fundamentals of healthy dieting practices.

Why Dieting Is So Hard.

We hate to diet. I’ve never met anyone who liked to be on a diet When I went on a diet I hated it. It made me unhappy and depressed.

Dieting especially crash dieting slows your metabolism. The longer you diet the slower your metabolism gets eventually causing you to eat less and less until your weight loss stops entirely. If you resume normal eating your weight quickly returns plus more pounds due to taking months for your metabolism to return to normal. Then guess what? You need to go onto another diet. This is yoyo dieting.
